Delilah “Doll” Reklinger never imagined her life with anyone that wasn’t a Hellion. She never imagined there would be a Hellion that could prove himself worthy enough to her father, Roundman, Hellions Club President. Content in living in the bubble of safety the motorcycle club family has always provided, Doll never thought that danger surrounded her.

Roundman has kept the Hellions contained for the last thirty years by controlling the chaos surrounding their lifestyle. When the dangerous side to their business comes knocking on his door, he realizes his precious Doll isn’t safe. The Hellions code may be that women and children are off limits in any altercation or dispute, but that doesn’t mean their enemies follow that same moral compass.

His only child, now in danger from the association to him and his club, Roundman makes a decision. He sends her away with a charter club member that he trusts, in hopes that the trouble won’t follow.

One ride across the country. One simple ride. Talon “Tripp” Crews has been ordered to take Doll on one ride away and to keep her safe. She’s off limits. His head knows this, but his body can’t deny the attraction. She’s feisty, fierce, and fearless.
Constantly in close confines together, can they deny the chemistry? Will they give into the desire? Can one ride turn lust into love?

Review

Doll is the MC princess for the Hellions MC. Her dad has been the President of the club for the last 30 years. Club life is all she’s ever known or wants to know. She wants a Hellion for a husband. Nothing else will do. She knows the uncertainty that comes with loving a biker. It’s a risk she’s willing to take. Now if her dad would back off and let her date who she wants.

Tripp is a Hellion with a different chapter. He’s in town to help Doll’s dad when they meet. He’s interested but knows all to well what Doll’s dad will think and what he’ll do to him if he acts on his interest. When a threat is not only issued against the club but to Doll personally, Tripp is asked to take her on a ride out of town. This ride changes everything.

I really liked the characters, light suspense and the sex scenes. My only complaint is that I would have preferred more suspense and less time away from the club’s compound. I love MC romances and while this one was an MC romance, I felt detached from the club. Otherwise, this was a good book and I will read more in the series.

With a famous NHL player for a step-brother, Violet Hall is well acquainted with the playboy reputation many hockey stars come with. She’s smart enough to steer clear of those hot, well-built boys with unparalleled stamina. That is until she meets the legendary team captain—Alex Waters.

Violet isn’t interested in his pretty, beat-up face, or his rock-hard six-pack abs. But when Alex inadvertently obliterates Violet’s previous misapprehension regarding the inferior intellect of hockey players, he becomes more than just a hot body with a face to match.

In what can only be considered a complete lapse in judgment, Violet finds out just how good Alex is with the hockey stick in his pants. But what starts out as a one-night stand, quickly turns into something more. Post-night of orgasmic magic, Alex starts to call, and text, and e-mail and send extravagant—and quirky—gifts, making him difficult to ignore, and even more difficult not to like.

The problem is, the media portrays Alex as a total player, and Violet doesn’t want to be part of the game.

Review

I read all the amazing reviews for this book and couldn’t wait to read it. It started off with such promise but kind of fell flat for me.

Violet is the step sister of an NHL hockey player. She knows all about this breed of man whore. She’s also sworn to herself to steer clear since dating one of these types a while back. Alex is a teammate of her step brother. He’s grown tired of the puck bunny hook ups. He wants some more now. When he meets Violet, he wants to see where this mutual attraction goes.

I think my problem was that I never felt fully engaged with these two main characters. I liked them but I never loved them. The humor in this book is fantastic. I laughed out loud multiple times. The sex was great too. It just never totally clicked for me. I did think it was okay and probably will continue the series.

I’ve loved once. I gave everything that I had to that love. Blindly believing that nothing could ever take that feeling away from me. Away from us. And when my little world of happiness was ripped from my fingers, I felt a loss that still haunts me to this day.

Now I use that lingering grief as a shield to keep my heart from loving again. It’s that fear that keeps me from letting anyone, except my daughter, get close enough to make it hurt. To make my heart bleed when I inevitably lose again.

Until the day I met Liam Beckett and everything I thought I had protected myself from was shoved back in my face.

He’s on a mission to prove to me that a love worth having is a love worth fighting for.

Review

Sometimes you get a book that clicks with you. Sometimes you get something that doesn’t. And sometimes you something in between. The later is how I felt about this book. I liked the hero, loved the heroine and loved seeing glimpses of my Corps, Inc. people.

Liam “Lee” Beckett is the son of the Corps, Inc. couple Dee and Beck. He’s all grown up now and works as a police officer much to his father’s surprise. He’s had his eye on Megan for the last couple of years. Megan is the widowed friend of his friends Cohen and Dani Cage. He knows he has to proceed cautiously due to Megan still mourning the death of her husband, Jack.

Megan is still bogged down in her loss. She’s in pain and guilt ridden. Jack was a great guy who sacrificed everything for her including his life. They were best friends since childhood. Both grew up with horrible home lives and extreme poverty. As Megan tries to make a good life for her and their daughter, Molly, she has to come to terms with the fact that she’s still alive. She also has to accept that she has a right to do so.

Lee and Megan have off the charts chemistry. You can see that Lee is all in and watching Megan fighting her attraction to him is gut wrenching. But knowing the Corps, Inc. offspring are like their parents, you know their HEA is gonna happen.

The character I enjoyed the most was Jack who was a secondary character. He snuck in and stole my heart. You totally get why Megan loved him. He was her everything. The author did an amazing job with the emotions in this book. The conversations at Jack’s grave were tear inducing and at one point I burst into tears.

My only complaint and it’s a small one is that the other males in the book were a little too beta for me. Still love the series and can’t wait fir the next book.

And as long as it meant the guys wouldn’t go near her little brother, Krit, it was worth it. But her days of dreaming that Prince Charming would ever come rescue her are far, far in the past.

Rock Taylor always had a plan. Through football, he would rise above the life he was born into. A full ride to play for a major college team was within his reach—assuming he didn’t let anything get in his way. But scoring a date with the hottest girl in Sea Breeze was proving harder than expected. Trisha Corbin was every man’s walking fantasy, and she wouldn’t even glance his way.

When Rock finally does get Trisha in his truck, it isn’t for a date. It’s because he picks her up on the side of the road, beaten and bruised and walking to the local hospital. Before Rock knows it, football is no longer his life. Trisha Corbin is. And he’ll do anything to save her. And keep her.

Review

I loved this book! I’d always wondered about Rock and Trisha’s story. Reading it was pure bliss even if it was too short. Rock Taylor is my new book boyfriend. He’s perfect. He wanted Trisha for years. I wouldn’t call him patient in his pursuit of her. He made sure she was aware of his desire for her.

When he realized what her home life was like, he stood up, front and center. He used everything he had to protect her and Krit. What he did and what he gave up made him absolutely swoon worthy. It was perfect Abbi Glines bliss. I enjoyed the epilogues on the series’ couples, but the ten years later one? It left me giddy, happy, salivating and with my mouth hanging open. I can not wait for that book!

Review

Harber’s latest installment brings as two very savvy computer geeks. Don’t let description fool you, these two geeks are hot. They’ve been circling each other knowingly and unknowingly for years. Parker Black is the tech expert for Titan. He’s also known in hacker circles as Black Dawn. He’s made quite a name for himself in both of these identities.

Lexi Dare is the fiancee of one of Parker’s friends. Parker has always thought of Lexi in a romantic sense but has never acted on it because of Matt. When he discovers the abuse that Lexi has suffered at Matt’s hands, all his protective instincts come out. Lexi’s alias in the hacker world is Silver Chaos. She’s confident, successful and talented. That’s her work persona. At home, she’s an abused woman who desperately wants to be loved and be part of a family. She is facing the fact that she doesn’t love Matt and she knows she needs to leave him. When Parker walks in on Matt abusing her, she puts a plan in place to leave.

When she leaves, she realizes that she has even bigger problems. Someone wants her new custom built computer program and they will do anything to get it. She has to turn to Parker and her online hacker friend, Black Dawn. When the two realized who each other were, I giggled.

I liked this book but I didn’t love it. It seemed to drag in parts for me. That has never happened to me with a Cristin Harber book, so perhaps, it was me and not the book. I still remain a Harber fanatic and look forward to her next book.

This morning, Sir has a very special lesson in mind for his favorite submissive…one that will push her to the limits of pleasure and pain at his hand and his crop! Will Princess be able to complete the lesson to Sir’s satisfaction, or will the pleasure and the pain overwhelm her before she can finish it? all she has to do is count to ten…

A short, intense tale of spanking, arousal and the pleasure of the submissive. Contains explicit descriptions of pleasure and pain…

Review

Princess prepares for her Saturday inspection and lesson from Sir. Princess is extremely meticulous about her preparations and wants Sir to be proud of her. She wants to push her limits and please him, so she up’s her spank count. What Princesses didn’t realize is that she is to count out the number of smacks and this lesson requires enunciation and articulation. Which is somewhat difficult to carry out with a ball gag firmly in your mouth.

“He knew that she was already aroused. She knew that he was pleased. A perfect harmony.”

I just got a A Saturday Morning Spanking on this super sexy and sinful Sunday! I just had the most unique and wonderful experience and I hope that I can correctly articulate exactly how much I loved it.

What was so unique about this particular story? Well, the author did a live reading and I was one of the lucky people to be included in this spectacular event. The sound of the authors voice, that accent and how sexy each word sounded rolling off his tongue (especially pussy.. mmmm). The interpretation of the story and visual I have in my head was so much fun. Sir has a voice and it belongs to Antony Quill. I’m pretty sure I could get addicted to that sound.

description

I loved this so much that I immediately went to Smashwords and bought the book, relistened to the audio and read along with it. For me it was even better the second time. I could listen to this authors voice and his words were making the words on my kindle come to life. Like a scene from a movie playing only in my head.

As the story continued, there are several more swats from Sir and attempted counting by Princess, Sir decides to change things up. This is the part that has me really fucking giddy and positively electrified with excitement.

“The crop came down hard on both buttocks with a loud thwack, so hard it caused her to scream.”

description

I missed it the first time I was listening, but the build up to this moment was made even sweeter with a ‘thwack’ in the background. I actually rewound the recording and listened to it again. It was awesome and made my insides quiver like an earthquake rolling through my body.

description

If you know me, then you know I’m not a fan of foot eaters in my stories. Nothing against it and to each their own, just not my thing. Now, let me clarify that there are no foot eaters in this story. However, there is a moment when Princess is contemplating the idea of licking Sir’s shoes clean. Let me express how immensely grateful I am that she did not do this. 🙂 Thank you for that. With that being said, the only thing I was missing from this story is Sir’s cock in Princess’s vagina. Yep. That’s what I was craving by the end.

description

Even though there is no sexual intercourse in this book it is extremely erotic. It does have very arousing spankings that lead to erotic masturbation and eventually an earth shattering orgasm. I gave a heat rating of 3 because this story is exceptionally erotica and will leave your panties dripping wet. You don’t need to have intercourse to be this hot and it was pulled off flawlessly.

description

Overall, I loved it. It was perfect in my eyes and to my ears. This story is perfectly paced and with the author actually reading makes this even better. I don’t think the sound effect I mentioned earlier was planned, but I loved it because it added a little extra flavor and created a memorable moment for me. It came at an intense point in the story and coupled with the authors voice and the smack in the background… *shivers* it was perfection. This author is extremely talented and a truly unique and innovative individual. I would recommend anything he publishes and I would highly recommend purchasing a book before he does a live reading. It will rock your world!

Six years ago, Dewayne Falco’s life changed. He lost someone he never expected to lose. Resigned to punish himself for something he felt he could have prevented, he goes through life without getting too close to anyone.

What he didn’t expect was for the girl across the street to move back home and remind him of what they both lost: Dewayne’s younger brother Dustin. However, when a miniature version of Dustin opens the door to greet him, Dewayne realizes he might not have lost everything after all.

Sienna Roy loved Dustin Falco most of her life. He was the boy next door, the high school basketball star and her best friend. But when his life was cut short, she realized he left a part of himself behind.

Now, she’s back in Sea Breeze, thankful to have a home for her and Dustin’s son, but not sure if she can ever forgive the people across the street who abandoned her when she needed them the most — The Falcos.

Betrayal, lies, and forbidden attraction might end Dewayne and Sienna’s story before it’s even begun.

Review

Everything about the book worked for me. Abbi Glines as the author? Check. Dreamy alpha male hero? Check. Secret baby? Check. Strong but not the top heroine? Check. A story that sucks you in from page one? Check.

Dewayne Falco has wanted Sienna Roy for years. Even when she was his brother’s girlfriend. He always looked after her in high school and tried to keep his younger brother in line where Sienna was concerned. After his brother’s death and Sienna’s disappearance, Dewayne has kept people at a distance. He’s guilt ridden and broken. Over the next several years, he gluts himself with alcohol and whoring.

Sienna Roy decides it’s time to come home. It’s been six years since Dustin’s death and she needs a stable place to raise their son, Micah. She doesn’t care if the Falco family doesn’t want anything to do with Micah, this is now their home. When Dewayne shows up on her porch to meet the new neighbors, all of her feelings for him rush back.

This read was so wonderful. You get a guy who thought he couldn’t be healed. You also got a girl that life tried to kick the crap out of but she fought right back. You get flashbacks to a young Dewayne, Preston and Rock for fans of this series, which I enjoyed a lot. You also get humor, emotion and hot sex. What more could you possibly want?

The future is bright for Reese Ellis. She has Mase Colt-Manning, the man of her dreams, and a family she didn’t know existed until her long-lost father arrived on her doorstep in Rosemary Beach. After growing up with a cruel mother and abusive stepfather, Reese is eager to get to know the caring and charming man who wants to be a part of her life. Everything is finally falling into place.

While Reese is visiting her new family in Chicago, Mase spends time with his “cousin,” Aida, who has worshipped him since childhood. Though they’re unrelated by blood, Mase and Aida have been raised to think of each other as family. But when Reese returns, she can tell something isn’t quite right with Aida, who clearly resents Reese and excels at manipulative little games. And though Mase is unsuspecting, Reese knows Aida doesn’t love him like a cousin should…

Review

Any of you who follows my reviews know that I’m a huge Abbi Glines fan. The two books about Mase were good but not great. This upsets me greatly since I was practically salivating to get to his story. I can’t quite put my finger on what it was that made me not love it. I liked the two main characters, loved their interaction with the rest of the Rosemary Beach group, I even thought their love story was sweet. I just wanted to like it more than I did.

Mase is Kiro Manning’s son from a hook up years ago. He’s financially supported him but not really been a part of his life. Mase is close with his half sister, Harlow. This story focuses on Reese’s meeting her real father, the beginning of her relationship with Mase, her insecurities and the numerous circumstances that try to keep Mase and Reese from being happy together.

Maybe it was because they weren’t in Rosemary Beach all the time. I knew going in that that wasn’t where Mase lived but still. I always enjoy the dialogue in Glines’ books and the emotion she pours into them. This book had more of a suspense feel to me, maybe that was it but I love suspense. It was still a good book but not up to par with the rest of the series to me. Still a huge fan and ready for whatever she writes next.
