Sentenced by Roz Lee (BDSM Light)

If this short tidbit is a full length book, fucking sign me up with a quickness! I loved the little taste that I got. Okay Judge Harlow… I’m ready for my punishment.

The Birthday Present by Arlee Scott (BDSM Light)

That is what I call a birthday present from someone who really loves you. WOW! That was an amazing short story and so much happened. Fantastic Domme action and with Jonathan watching and helping… just, panty melting. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

NSFW (Not Safe for Work) by Kestra Gravier (BDSM Light)

LOVED this one! And I wanted it to go on forever! I really enjoyed Matt’s submission the most and how it came about. Filing this one under 2 finger 1 hand read.

“Fuck me, Matt. And this time, you can come when I tell you.”
Like a palace guard keeping his empress from danger, Matt swept Aliz into his arms and strode over to the sideboard. He deposited her on the cold marble top, then wrenched her manhandled sweater fully off.

Guess who’s masturbating tonight!

White Jeans by Elizabeth SaFleur (BDSM Light)

This one was just okay for me. It was still good but at first, I was confused by what Joseph wanted then figured it out. I think this short story is more suited for a book all by itself. The concept was really good but needs a lot more pages to be told.

It Takes Two to Tango by Cris Anson (BDSM Advanced)

OH MAN! This one is good! For a short story, this had a lot going on and I loved the action. I kept shouting at my kindle trying to get Cheryl to run! This guy is probably a psycho and I never did find out if James cut her or not. Now with that being said, Cheryl does want everything that James is offering. Also, I have to mention that Cheryl’s character was very well written. I could practically feel her submission coming off the pages. Great story and great writing!

Scene and Be Seen by Gray Dixon (BDSM Advanced)

First… there is no sex in this short story. It is very sexual, but with no slot A into slot B. Second, the amount of times Madyson Sloane refers to the night she made a drunken bet is ridiculously annoying. In fact, it’s so annoying that it pulled me out of the story and I ended up not liking it.

“one of those outrageously drunken bets”
“The Wager, wrong on so many levels, made more sense inebriated”
“I barely remember making the bet”
“Or, it could’ve been my view from my inebriated state.”
“The hazy moments leading up to the stupid bet started with”
“over one too many cocktails and too little food in my stomach.”
“mostly a blur, but”
“in my fuzzy state, any man with a nice smile and a big dick would’ve looked”
“Did I already say that this is the consequence of having one too many Sex on the Beach cocktails, which influenced the negotiating?”
“Those Sex on the Beach cocktails did a real number on my memory”
“made the wager when I was, shall we say, not in my full faculties, and shouldn’t be held to what I said.”

I’m pretty sure I missed a few, but you get the point. I think I could have really gotten more into the story if there wasn’t a constant reference to being drunk.

Blind Trust by Becca Jameson (BDSM Advanced)

For a short story there is a lot going on and its really good. I wish the story would go on. This is a really hot and sexy MFM ménage. I would have been scared out of my mind… but I think that is the point for Victoria to get what she needs.

“I can smell your fear. It’s making my cock so fucking hard. I can’t wait to bury my dick inside you.”

description

description

The Pleasure Is All Mine by Rhiannon Ayers (BDSM Advanced)

Damn! That is how you set a scene! This is a great story about a Domme playing a game and teaching a lesson to her submissive. The author did a wonderful job about telling a story in such a short time. The writing style is well crafted and you can really see everything that is going on in your head. Or at least I did. BRAVO!

Rush by Alaska Angelini (BDSM Dark Erotica)

Saved the best for last and then cut me off! I wanted this one to go on forever. I really hope this is a full length book or there is plans to have one because I would buy this in a heartbeat. I love this story because it calls to my darker side. This author has a new fan and I just added all her books to by TBR.

“I needed the rush. I needed… to be taken and hurt.”

“I feel your tension. Your instincts are screaming for you to fight. As you should. Do it, pet. Try with everything you have. But don’t you dare make a fucking sound.”

“How long had I waited and searched for the right man? One who could dominate me with more than just words? A sadist. That’s what I needed, and one with a darkness to match my own.”

“Perhaps I hadn’t just opened Pandora’s box within myself. I’d awakened his demons too, and soon I’d find out if that was a good thing or not.”

description

My overall feels on the entire book is really great and I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys BDSM on many different levels. This is a great read and I’m really excited to meet most of these authors at the BDSM Writers Convention in Everett Washington and then again in NYC.

Review~Clubwhore by Kim Jones

Title: Clubwhore

I’m that girl…
The girl every woman loves to hate.
The one your man dreams about.
I live up to my name…
CLUBWHORE.
And this is my story.

She needs something. Something Devil’s Renegade MC Sergeant at Arms Bryce is more than willing to give. But he’s not the kind of man who asks. He takes. And soon, he will take her. He’ll dominate her. He’ll captivate her. She’ll be his—no patches…no property…no titles. Only her. Only him.
She thinks this is her story to tell.
It very well may be.
But he…is fixing to rewrite it.

Review

The premise of this book had me hooked the moment I heard about it. I love MC romance but written from a clubwhore’s point of view? Um… yes please! Well, not exactly. I guess what I really want is a book about club life from a clubwhore. My opinion regarding this book is not about that though.

What I liked:

I liked the feeling of the club.

I liked the acceptance the club offered Delilah.

I liked that Delilah was screwed up and owned that fact.

What I didn’t like:

Delilah’s need to hurt herself or needing to be hurt.

Bryce’s being somewhat of a Dom even as he constantly denied it.

I liked the writing style and will continue this series. I didn’t care for the BDSM content of the book. It’s not my genre and I don’t want to read that.

Dawson McCade is used to having to fight for everything. He fought hard for his position as the President of one of the most ruthless, bad-ass, outlaw motorcycle clubs… the Riverdale chapter of the SLAYERS, MC.
He’s prepared to fight with everything he has against the newest threat to his organization… the Conquistadors drug cartel as it begins to move in on his club’s territory.
One thing he’s not used to fighting, though, is against himself. Ever since the moment he first laid eyes on the innocent, angelic, Molly Donovan, his world’s been thrown upside down.
He’s a killer, an animal, with dark demons buried deep. Demons that he’s used to help fuel the drive that’s gotten him to where he is in life. He’s not looking for redemption, he’s not looking for temptation… hell, he IS the temptation.
Molly, his “angel”, brings a whole new threat to Dawson’s life. One that can’t be fought on the outside like everything else he’s used to. She’s going to cause a war within him, one that’s more dangerous and terrifying to him than the bullets that the Conquistadors are sending his way.

The Slayers MC are soldiers, fighters. Dawson’s going to need every single bit of those things to lead both his club and his heart to victory.

Review

This is the first work that I’ve read by this author. I love MC romance and believe that there is a certain way to write it correctly. At least, as far as my enjoyment of it. This is sort of a novella in length. Less than 200 pages.

What I liked:

Dawson is really a kind guy to his heroine. From the beginning.

I liked the banter between the MC brothers.

I liked the heroine’s devotion to her family.

What I didn’t like:

The insta-love. It was a little hard to buy into.

It was too short.

I liked the book and will look for the next installment in the series.

About the Author

Lacey St. Claire remembers one of her first encounters with erotica. She doesn’t remember the exact age but knows it was pre-15. The local library had a book sale and she had picked up a book that appeared to be about witches and demons. Every kids dream right? Reading through the book one evening after school she came to a single story about the devil. Within the story the devil pounded a woman with his fiery rod. It was sinful, it was sexy, and it was HOT. The page became earmarked and was reread numerous times that year.

Now that Lacey is an author she wants to provide people the same thrill that she first experienced. She knows that reading erotica is still often viewed as taboo and is a great secret among most women, but it shouldn’t be. She wants everyone to be able to celebrate their individual tastes and to be able to experiment and explore through her erotic fiction. It doesn’t matter if your kink is alien breeding, BDSM, or men in tight motorcycle gear and helmets, there is something to get off anyone.

If you’re horny and you want to do something about it then you should. Erotica can be a great way to release stress and to get the juices flowing even if it’s just for your sexy stud at home. Don’t be afraid, don’t be ashamed, turn those pages and flick your nub. Enjoy yourself!!

The flame never dies . . .

Millie Cross knows what it’s like to burn for someone. She was young and wild and he was fierce and even wilder-a Chaos biker who made her heart pound. They fell in love at first sight and life was good, until she learned she couldn’t be the woman he needed and made it so he had no choice but to walk away. Twenty years later, Millie’s chance run-in with her old flame sparks a desire she just can’t ignore. And this time, she won’t let him ride off . . .

Bad boy Logan “High” Judd has seen his share of troubles with the law. Yet it was a beautiful woman who broke him. After ending a loveless marriage, High is shocked when his true love walks back into his life. Millie is still gorgeous, but she’s just a ghost of her former self. High’s intrigued at the change, but her betrayal cut him deep-and he doesn’t want to get burned again. As High sinks into meting out vengeance for Millie’s betrayal, he’ll break all over again when he realizes just how Millie walked through fire for her man . . .

Review

A second chance romance is a favorite trope of mine. It usually works for me. Very seldom does it not work. This story was a great example of a second chance at love. The kind of love that comes along and consumes you. Makes any and all sacrifices worth it.

High and Millie’s story was a tale of love lost, years lost, lives changed for some and for another, a life that’s just an existence. What would you do if the person you were in love with would lose what they wanted most if they stayed with you? Either way you chose, someone would be devastated.

I had so many emotions while reading this book. Sadness at life’s cruelties. Anger at a group a men who are portrayed as heroes when they were really a bunch of bullies. To a woman no less. Contentment with how it all worked out. Happiness at love coming full circle. Love teaching us that there is no greater emotion. Well done again Kristen Ashley.

He knows how to score, on and off the ice

Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn’t have the first clue about what she’s going to do after college. To make matters worse, she’s nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won’t include the king of one-night stands.

It’ll take more than flashy moves to win her over

Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls…he’s a ladies man, all right, and he’s yet to meet a woman who’s immune to his charms. Until Allie. For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world—and now she wants to be friends? Nope. It’s not over until he says it’s over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it’s time to stop focusing on scoring…and shoot for love.

Review

I was so excited to read Dean’s book! Then I listened to a friend say there was an ick factor to it for her. Then I read a couple of reviews that were less than stellar. I stupidly put off reading it. I knew better but I put it off anyway.

The biggest manwhore at Briar College and a girl fresh off a long term relationship break up. This has rebound written all over it. Dean wears his whoring badge with pride. He loves women. A lot of women. Why not? He’s single, good looking, built, an athlete and rich.

Allie is a relationship type of girl. She doesn’t do one night stands. Ever. Until she does. With Dean, the campus pussy hound. She loved every minute of it but now she’s ashamed. Dean, on the other hand, doesn’t sleep with the same girl twice. But he wants another round with Allie. Badly. Problem with that is that Allie turns him down. What’s the guy who never gets turned supposed to do?

I enjoyed every second of reading this book. There was more emotion than I thought there’d be. I teared up a couple of times. I now can’t wait for Tucker’s book!

Off the ice, elite defenseman Hawke Therrien enjoys his fair share of booze and good times. And why shouldn’t he? He’s worked his way up from the minor leagues and made himself a star. The only thing Hawke misses from that life is the pierced, tattooed free spirit who broke his heart without so much as an explanation. She’s almost unrecognizable when she walks back into his life seven years later—except for the look in her eyes that feels like a punch to the gut.

Vale Campbell isn’t the same girl she was at twenty. As crazy as she was about Hawke, her reckless behavior and out-of-control drinking were starting to scare her. She had to clean up her act, and that would never happen with Hawke around. Cutting him loose was the hardest thing Vale ever had to do—until now. Because she’s still crazy about Hawke. And if he could ever learn to forgive her, they just might have a future together.

Review

Hawke just got traded to the Cold Fury. One of the new trainers is his ex, Vale. Hawke is stunned at first. See, he and Vale were together for a while years ago and Vale broke up with him for reasons unknown. He hardly recognizes her because of her physical appearance and it’s changes. Where is the pierced and tatted party girl? Why did she leave him all those years ago?

Vale is trying to be who she feels she needs to be. Juggling these changes, her father’s devastating illness and bills that just keep piling up. She doesn’t have time for any distractions. Especially a distraction like Hawke. He’s still everything she remembers. Gorgeous, built and a partier. When Hawke decides that he wants her back and some answers, Vale realizes that a second chance at love might not be a bad thing.

I wanted to love it but I didn’t. I never really connected to the story and never totally bought the reason for their break up. The book was okay but the weakest offering to the series yet in my opinion.

Book given in exchange for an honest opinion via the publisher and NetGalley.

He never meant to hurt her.

Levi “Painter” Brooks was nothing before he joined the Reapers motorcycle club. The day he patched in, they became his brothers and his life. All they asked in return was a strong arm and unconditional loyalty—a loyalty that’s tested when he’s caught and sentenced to prison for a crime committed on their behalf.

Melanie Tucker may have had a rough start, but along the way she’s learned to fight for her future. She’s escaped from hell and started a new life, yet every night she dreams of a biker whose touch she can’t forget. It all started out so innocently—just a series of letters to a lonely man in prison. Friendly. Harmless. Safe.

Now Painter Brooks is coming home… and Melanie’s about to learn that there’s no room for innocence in the Reapers MC.

Review

I remembered Painter from Em’s book in the series. He stuck out in my mind because of what an ass hat he was. Nothing much changed with him in his own story. I liked that he gave Melanie time to let happenings in their lives settle but he was still a first class douche. Overbearing and condescending. He loves his club and they come first. Always had.

Melanie knew who Painter was. She saw how he treated not only his club but the women he took to his bed. Despite her attraction to him, she fought to keep her distance. Over time, the two start a loose friendship that turns into a lust fueled relationship. She ends up pregnant. That’s not a spoiler. If you read the series, you know that from previous books.

I liked reading it but at the end, Painter was still an ass. You don’t tell the woman you love that every woman you have slept with until she took you back was her in your mind. Note to all men: that’s not sexy. At all. It cheapens your love making and it’s disrespectful. I did though enjoy it and look forward to reading the next book in the series.

The ride of her life . . .
Once upon a time, Carissa Teodoro believed in happy endings. Money, marriage, motherhood: everything came easy—until she woke up to the ugly truth about her Prince Charming. Now a struggling, single mom and stranded by a flat tire, Carissa’s pondering her mistakes when a vaguely familiar knight rides to her rescue on a ton of horsepower.

Climb on and hold tight . . .
In high school, Carson Steele was a bad boy loner who put Carissa on a pedestal where she stayed far beyond his reach. Today, he’s the hard-bodied biker known only as Joker, and from the way Carissa’s acting, it’s clear she’s falling fast. While catching her is irresistible, knowing what to do with her is a different story. A good girl like Carissa is the least likely fit with the Chaos Motorcycle Club. Too bad holding back is so damned hard. Now, as Joker’s secrets are revealed and an outside threat endangers the club, Joker must decide whether to ride steady with Carissa—or ride away forever . . .

Review

What can I say about a Kristen Ashley book? The woman can write. Her books are consistently good. I’m talking about her Chaos series. The only other book of hers that I read was Knight and I loved it. I tried her Colorado Mountain series and couldn’t get into it. I loved Tack’s book. I loved Tabby’s book. I took a break for a while because of a couple of reasons. I like my MC romances a little darker and this series is kind of MC lite to me and her books are long. Sometimes too long for me. But I’m back now and I’m staying right here.

Joker was swoon worthy. Just about perfect. An alpha male who stayed alpha. He never went beta. I hate when an alpha male goes beta. He fell in love with Carissa is high school and never forgot about her. It was so sexy when he told her that it had always been her and always would be. He just treasured her and her son.

Carissa was a great heroine. She was sweet, selfless and was that way despite life punching her in the throat over and over. She was timid but spunky when she needed to be. When life handed her lemons, she did her best to make lemonade. She was a great mom and a hard worker. And she fell in love with Joker, a man that so desperately needed to be loved.

I really enjoyed this book. I’m going straight to High and Millie’s book next.

Amazing! Tears of joy! I love this series! I want to snuggle with it, rub my face in it and make out with it. Seriously. There’s nothing bad to say about it. Is it dark? Yes. Do you have to have a strong stomach? Sometimes. Is it suspenseful? Yes. Alpha males that never turn Beta? Yes. Heroines that never quit? Yes.

Bear was…just Bear. No explanations, no apologizes. Just Bear. Biker, brawler, bad ass. Absolute yummy goodness. The book starts with him in prison to protect Thia. Everyday is a fight for survival. Threats coming at him from every angle. His one constant? Thia. She’s his everything. His reason for being. She’s the only other person he’s cared about besides King, Ray and Preppy.

Thia is fit to be tied. She doesn’t truly understand what Bear’s endgame is. She tries to be what he needs her to be and to do what he needs her to do. It’s not easy because she doesn’t really know anyone outside of Bear, Ray and King. She’s cut off from society, heavily guarded.

This is truly a bad ass series. I count down to the release dates of the books. I can’t wait to see what plot twists T.M. Frazier throws at me next. And the one at the end of this book? I burst out crying tears of joy.
