For Erika and her team of Ivy League-educated archaeologists, trekking through a hot, wet jungle and penetrating the depths of the elusive dragon temple they’ve been hunting is all in a day’s work. Little do they know that once inside, their minds and bodies will become immersed in centuries-old magic, the tantalizing effects of which they are powerless to resist.

In spite of her attempts to prove she still has control, the magic compels Erika to begin a series of rituals to revive the long-sleeping denizens within the temple. Uncertain what to expect, her desire wins out when she sets eyes on the figure she is meant to awaken—a red dragon bound in the form of a beautiful man frozen in jade but definitely ready for her attention.

Review

What a pleasant surprise! I’ve been in a paranormal/shifter slump for a bit and this has brought my interest back. Not only was this super charged erotic but it has a really interesting story to back it up. Which I think is very difficult to do in only 37 pages. Another thing that’s difficult to do, is leave the short story with a HFN and you’re ok waiting until the next installment comes out. Bravo
Ophelia Bell! Bravo!

This is a short story about Erika and her team of archaeologists, looking for a legend Dragon temple. Once the temple is discovered, Erika and her team open the doors to find dragon statues and artifacts. While trying to figure out the mystery of the Dragon temple and statues, they are surrounded by magic that keeps them in an aroused state of mind and body.

I really liked this story. I thought the author told a fantastic story in a short amount of time. I thought the storyline was well thought out and unique, the characters are interesting and the sex is phenomenal! Statues, Dragons and Magic, FUCKY YA!! I will warn some of you that may have issues with a dragon shifter, in dragon form having sex with a human. I thought that was fucking awesome and I want MORE OF THAT!!! Also one of the characters is bisexual but does not go into detail which I thought was a little disappointing. The only thing that could have made the last sex scene better was if the male dragon was taking on both the male and female humans. SWEET JEZZ-US! OMG! Im about to slide outta my seat just thinking about it. Bring on the dragon orgies!

My only complaint is that it’s to short and it would be nice if all the stories were sold together in one set/novel. With that being said there is no cliffhanger but does leave some questions unanswered and the reader wanting more.

Overall, I fucking loved it. Like I said before, the story is well told in a short amount of time, the characters are interesting and I cant wait to learn more about each of them (especially Kris). (view spoiler) The sex is super erotic and does the job in the arousal territory. I have just one last thing to say… Ophelia Bell, you have a new fan!!

Now for some fun quotes:

“What kind of sex dungeon did you bring us to, Erika?”

“No more than you shoving my face into your wet pussy and telling me to eat you like a starving man…”

“I always wondered what a dragon’s dick looked like. Almost as nice as mine. And its so smooth. Seriously, you need to touch it.”

“Her plan had been to rub out enough orgasms to send herself into a mini-coma and sleep through the night…”
