The fourth instalment in the Severed MC series finds Cowboy wrestling with his demons. Can he go on, or is he too broken after everything he’s endured?

Meanwhile the citizens of Severed are caught up in a war, and it’s down to Severed MC to try and save them.

This book is going to blow your mind.

This is Cowboy and Lucy’s book. Cowboy has been struggling badly since the death of his best friend. To make matters worse, he had to deal with his best friend being a rat and a traitor to the MC. He also has had to deal with the fact that he didn’t get to his best friend’s sister in time to save her life from Satan. He’s a shadow of the man he used to be. He hasn’t been living, just existing. Because of his perceived failures, he doesn’t think his brothers in the club trust him or his judgement. His attraction to Lucy is yet something else he doesn’t feel deserving of.

Lucy has always thought Cowboy was attractive. She knows he has some demons that he’s trying to deal with but she likes the man he is. After her roommate moves out, she and Cowboy become even closer. They both decide to see where this attraction goes. The road to love for these two isn’t without roadblocks but it is a sweet ride.

The reason for the lower rating for his book than some of the others is that it didn’t grab me as much. I didn’t feel the love story as much either. It was still a good book but it seemed to lack as much of a punch as the previous ones. I still look forward to reading more in this series.
