Greer has always been there for Asher, but she wishes she could break through her shyness and show how much she truly loves him. But after a steamy, mindless fling at Hunter and Gretchen’s engagement party, Greer finds herself tossed aside and forced to admit that you can’t love someone who doesn’t acknowledge you exist.

It’s a shame he got her pregnant.

After his fiancée betrayed him and tanked his business in one fell swoop, Asher has spent his time trying to rebuild his wealth and forget the past. But he doesn’t understand why Greer blew him off after their night together—until he catches a glimpse of her belly.

Now Asher is willing to do whatever it takes to convince Greer she belongs with him. And he’s very skilled at the art of persuasion.

Asher is a self made man. He started with nothing. Built a company. Lost that company due to his girlfriend’s cheating and betrayal, He rebuilt his company and is now a billionaire but hides his pain at his ex’s actions behind a bottle of alcohol.

Greer is a trust fund baby. Her father is a Hugh Hefner type. She has money but has never had a parent who cared anything about her. She’s an afterthought in her own life. She’s loved Asher for years. She’s watched him through it all.

I enjoyed the story. It managed to hold my interest during the worst book funk that I’ve ever had. I love unplanned pregnancies in my books. I love watching the hot guy fall for the Plain Jane type. I also love the humor of Jessica Clare’s writing.
