The only commitment Saxby Cole has ever made is to the SEALs. He follows a long line of Southern charmers who swear monogamy isn’t in their blood. He’s never met a woman who made him want to swear his allegiance—until, while undercover for a Justiss Alliance assignment, he finds a woman who makes him think twice.

When Jennessy Shaw’s boyfriend dumps her right before their vacation to a hedonistic Caribbean resort, she goes without him to explore her wild side. Throwing caution to the wind, she propositions Saxby—only to suffer his gentle rejection.

When she wakes in Saxby’s room with no memory of the night before, Jennessy discovers his real purpose: to sniff out an operation where women like her are drugged and prostituted to resort guests. She goes from victim to his investigative partner . . . but getting too close to the sexier-than-sin Saxby may be her wildest move yet.

This third installment to the Justiss Alliance is about Saxby Cole. He’s a southern charmer from an old money family and a womanizer. Be still my beating heart! He has only ever committed to the SEALs and he was the character I was most interested in. He takes an assignment to an island where they cater to sexual pleasures. The only problem is that sometimes the participants are willing and sometimes they aren’t. That’s why Saxby is there, to get information and confirmation that this is happening. Not to do anything about, just gain information to pass along to the authorities.

Jennessy Shaw was supposed to go on vacation with her boyfriend. He dumped her shortly before the trip but she decides to go without him. She feels like she needs to take a walk on the wild side. She meets Saxby on the plane and even though she feels he’s kind of nerdy, she still finds him attractive. He rejects her advances, only because he’s undercover.

As the evidence looks as if the rumors are true, both Saxby and Jennessy are drawn together into a world where there might be rape available to the highest bidder.

Sound good? I think so too but then it fell apart from there. It became tedious and boring. Not only in the mystery portion but there wasn’t enough sex. Don’t give me a womanizer and then barely any sex. The build up was great but the delivery, not so good. This is a good series that I’ve enjoyed but this offering was substandard.
